Speech-to-text can be very useful in a conference setting. It may be that deaf or hard of hearing people will be attending your conference or maybe you would just like to make it easily accesible for everyone attending your event by having the verbatim note of what is being said projected on to a large screen behind the speakers.

Many people comment on how they have benefitted from this inclusive service as well as the hard of hearing and the deaf. As well as being projected onto a screen the transcription can also be used as subtitling on video footage at the event or fed to a simultaneous internet broadcast.

Very little extra equipment needs to be provided if you wish to use this service. However, it is good practice to use two STTRs for a large conference running into several hours.
